Family and friends plays an important role in our life. We cannot live without a family, and we cannot enjoy life without friends. It’s really important to have a good balance between the two. However, life isn’t fair and you have problems either with your family or with your friends. What will you do now? Which one will you choose to surrender? Which weighs more important?

Let us start with friends. The people who get along and have fun with you are your friends. Most of the time, a friend has something similar with your personality. Both of you could possess interests in sports, hobbies or likes. And you will develop a bond called friendship. As you grow older, you will meet different people who can be your friend. You will encounter individuals who have bad personalities which can give you more harm than good.

Now, let’s talk about families. Once you’re born in this world, you have a family. You have your parents and relatives before you even know them. You can’t choose your family and they can’t choose their child. That’s how life goes and we should be thankful for having a chance to live. Parents have roles and obligations to guide their children. They should give their child the primary needs of an individual, such as giving them a home, food, education, love and teaching them to have faith in God.

Once we grow older, we experience hardship and comparison between the two. Sometimes you get angry with your Dad, if he didn’t give your allowance, or your friend betrayed you because of money, and you feel lost and want to give up. You shouldn’t be. It’s because whatever you do, your family will always stay as your family. It’s on your blood that you were born to help them and stay with them. However, your friends can turn into enemies. They can abandon you and treat you badly once they don’t need you anymore.

In a conclusion, having a good relationship with your family is important, rather than with your friends. Your family will always be there for you as long as they live. They will be your source of strength and they can also take the role of your friend. While on the other hand, you will never know if a friend will stay good to you forever. Try to filter your friends. Pick those who you think is the best for you to rely on and stay away from friends who can influence you in doing bad acts.
